Sreedhara Vadhyar pioneered the journey of Yasoram in 1977 when he quit his job as an Architectural Engineering Consultant with Kerala Public Health and Engineering Department to establish Yasoram. He is credited with the invention of pre-cast concrete houses that can be transported, dismantled and reassembled in 24 hours. His adherence to quality standards, penchant for acquiring properties in prime locations and vision has helped Yasoram survive the storm that stirred the construction sector. Of the many apartments, shopping complexes, hospitals, educational institutions and places of worship to its credit, the ‘Kuladevatha Mandir Complex’ at Ambalamedu, Kochi is a gem on Yasoram’s crown.

As a commitment to society, Yasoram Charitable Trust has built a housing colony of 46 houses in 1.79 acres in Thrippunithura for the downtrodden and implemented ‘Harita Gramam’, a project to help 30 poor farmers of Cheppanam Village with irrigation. The trust also imparts free training in construction and allied activities to the youth. The Excellence ’94 Award by International Integrity, Peace and Foundation Society, Bangalore; Rashtriya Gaurav Award 1994 by All India Achievers Conference, New Delhi; Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Award 1995; Gandhi Peace Foundation Award 2003; Times of India Property Icon Award 2018 and many accolades have come Yasoram’s way. Yasoram has crossed many milestones in the last 42 years, with over 2000 projects to its credit, and is about to grow even bigger.

The brand grows stronger under the able guidance of A.R.S. Vadhyar (Chairman), Rohit V. Prabhu (Managing Director), Manju S. Vadhyar (Director), Dr. K. Jayasree Vadhyar (Director), and Dr. Sindhu S. Vadhyar (Director).

In the pipeline, is a new Elevated Transit System for Kochi called ‘Yasoram Skycity’ incorporating multi-storied complexes with corporate offices, banking and financial institutions, jewellery, textile, and automobile showrooms, health clubs, amusement centres, restaurants, shopping malls, etc. along with a world-class amusement park containing water sports facilities and an oceanarium.
