Located off the Dehu Road-Katraj Bypass, Hinjewadi clocked the first spot on our list of the top 5 most searched localities in Pune. One of the main reasons for Hinjewadi’s claim-to-fame is the presence of leading IT/ITeS companies.

Connectivity: The locality enjoys connectivity to the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway (NH-4), making Mumbai and Bangalore accessible by road. The nearest railway station to Hinjewadi is Pimpri, which is about 11km from here, while the Pune Junction Railway Station is at about 21km.

To further enhance the connectivity quotient of the area, Hinjewadi Metro Line 3 of Pune Metro is under construction.

Social infrastructure: Hinjewadi has some renowned schools and colleges within its vicinity, like the Blue Ridge Public School, VIBGYOR High School, and the Mercedes-Benz International School. The International Institute of Information Technology and Symbiosis International University are also in the vicinity. The second spot on our list was secured by Chikhali. In the post-pandemic world, the city peripherals areas are front and centre on the radars of homebuyers. According to ANAROCK’s research, out of the total 29,950 units launched in Pune in FY21, about 76% were in the peripheral areas like Chikhali, Mulshi, Chakan, etc.

Connectivity: An upcoming location on the peripheries of Pune, Chikhali enjoys road connectivity via Dehu-Moshi Road. Pune Railway Station is about 22km from the locality and is easily accessible via Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, while the international airport is about 23km and can be reached via Alandi Road.

Located on the Pune-Nagar highway, Wagholi secured the third spot on our list.
