“My Advisor was biased towards me – a buyer; my preferences were important for him”

RoofandFloor understands that a house is a prized asset – one for which families put in all their hard-earned savings to call a home their own. As our customers go on this journey of shortlisting and buying a home, RoofandFloor walks alongside them – holding hands, giving moral and material support, helping them deconstruct legalese, offering negotiation assistance and keeping them focused. RoofandFloor aims to make the home buying experience smoother, educational and satisfying.

This is the journey of Vivek and Swati Singh in Bangalore to find their dream home with the help of our Home Advisors. We caught upto them and asked them a few questions about their journey with RoofandFloor.

What were the challenges you faced?

One of the greatest challenges we faced was clearing the confusion around A Khata and B Khata. Another was to make sure that the property is legal. It was quite difficult to find out from some builders if their properties had all necessary legal permits.

How did RoofandFloor help you?

Once we had approached RoofandFloor, we were introduced to our own home advisor. This is exactly what we were looking for – someone who could help us ensure that we were looking up legal projects. Nobody likes wasting time and effort looking up illegal projects.

We had a good experience with RoofandFloor and our Advisor helped with finding the location, choosing the property based on our criteria and not someone else’s. Usually it would have a builder or an agent who would have reached out to us to sell their property. Here, RAF helped to select a location and property and best deal based on my requirements.

In your opinion, what was different about RoofandFloor?

For one? You are not biased towards the builder. You are biased towards me as a buyer. See, the first job my RoofandFloor advisor did was to shortlist properties and projects based on the location preference we gave him.

Before approaching RoofandFloor, I had visited various web portals to look for properties. They have me multiple names but they were useless to me because most did not have proper documentation. Even when we pressed them, they were not able to convince us about possessing correct papers.

With RoofandFloor, our advisor helped us with shortlisting builders and projects and also helped us verify whether a builder was trustworthy or not.

Will you recommend us to your friends?

Definitely! We would recommend RoofandFloor as it specifically helps out buyers with selecting properties and works to give buyers the best deal.
