The second spot was secured by Mettupalayam Road. A National Highway (NH 67), it is a busy arterial road spanning about 36km starting from Rangai Gownder street up to the northern suburb of Mettupalayam.
Connectivity: Being a national highway, the connectivity quotient of Mettupalayam Road is quite high. Besides road connectivity, there are many railway stations along the stretch. Avinashi Road clocked the third spot on our list. An arterial road, it starts at the Uppilipalayam flyover and ends at the Nillambur bypass junction.
