So, here we are with our latest, unbiased project review of Monte South, Mumbai.

Monte South is a joint venture by Marathon Group and Adani Realty. Sprawling across 12 acres, it offers apartments in 2, 2.5, 3, and 3.5BHK configurations.

The project uses Korean formwork technology called Kumkang. “It allows for simplified and faster construction activity with an excellent, smooth concrete finish. It also helps in improving time and effort efficiency, while creating rock-solid, leak-resistant structures,” informs Mayur Shah, MD, Marathon Realty.

Price: Rs 2.99 Crore onwards.

Location and accessibility

Monte South

Monte South is located in Byculla, the heart of South Mumbai. It enjoys connectivity to the business districts of Lower Parel, the Western and Eastern Express Highways. It also boasts of connectivity to the Eastern Freeway, which further connects it to the northern suburbs and Navi Mumbai.

The international airport is about 17km away and can be reached within 40 minutes.

The convenience aspect: A premium project, Monte South can be the right choice for families. There are several schools and colleges in the vicinity. Some of the popular schools are Villa Theresa, Christ Church, Queen Mary, and Aditya Birla World Academy. Sophia College, St. Xavier’s, J.J. School of Arts, and Jai Hind are also within a 5km radius.

For all your healthcare needs, you can rely on Saifee Hospital, Prince Aly Khan Hospital, Jaslok Hospital, and J. J. Hospital.

Ideal location for professionals: As mentioned earlier, Byculla enjoys proximity to the business districts of Lower Parel and Nariman Point, which makes it an excellent location for professionals.

All apartments in Monte South are designed as per Vaastu. Additionally, apartments in the project are expansive in every sense- high ceilings, spacious rooms, and breath-taking views.

At the time of writing this review, the starting price for apartments in Monte South was Rs 2.99 Crore. There is no Preferential Location Charge for this project.

He further adds, “Many gated communities in South Mumbai don’t have the facilities to offer to homeowners who are looking for that sense of luxury. Monte South, with its large apartments, and an array of unique amenities, is that perfect upgrade to their lifestyle.”

Why? For the location, construction quality, and amenities.

Currently, Byculla is on the cusp of a transformation, thanks to several high-rise projects. Many leading names in the city have launched their high-end projects in the area. Experts believe that the area is the last bit of land in the city that hasn’t been developed to its full potential. Additionally, with projects like monorail and metro rail on the anvil, the property prices are expected to only go northwards in the times to come. 

Thus, Monte South is not only a good option for end-users but also investors.

So, if you are looking for a premium home in South Mumbai, Monte South deserves a visit.
