A glance at our last month’s data reveals that 24% of prospective buyers in Bangalore are looking to buy a plot. Interestingly, this number has risen by about 9% in May 2020 as against April 2020. The reasons?
“While apartments have completely changed the skyline of Bangalore, a good percentage of buyers still prefer plots to construct their homes. And with the current virus outbreak, we expect this number to increase in the near term as more and more people will now prefer to have their own space,” explains Ashutosh Kumar, Lead, TrueAssist.
He further adds, “While investing in plots, one should always remember the golden words by Mark Twain – Buy land, they’re not making it anymore. After all, land is an appreciating asset. Also, when compared to other property types, plots have lower price points, higher appreciation potential, flexibility, and are relatively easier to exit.”
