This venture was started in the year 2004 with 2500 Residential plots, having around 2300 members. The venture was kept for Marketing from 2004 and being the biggest venture with 4 layouts. This venture is located at the very elevated location and gives an overall view of Hi- Tech city, This venture is also abutting the Express Highway which is linking road between the Bombay and Bangalore Highway proposed to be made a 6 track road. As a green project, from the day one onwards, we are planting trees and herbs in our project. Either fruit trees,avenue trees, bushes , herbal and medicinal plants and plants which are in the verge of extinction. The extensive plantation helped Pragati in to a Biodiversity Project where Nature cares everything. Each 500 sq yard plot is planted with 9 fruit bearing tree and 9 wood yielding plants.The fruit trees are the following – Mango (Varieties- Banishan, Dasari, Himayath Pasanth, Rasalu and Punasa.), Sapota, Amla, Jack Fruit, Guava and Pomegranate.The tree species are – Teak and mahogany. The plots are reachable through 60 feet wide rods and 40 feet wide rods with avenue plantation.We have more than hundred avenue tree species. Millingtonia, Jamun, Spatodia, Putranjeeva, Tababia, Jacaranda, Alstonia, Golden shower - this list goes on. All these avenue trees are with thick canopy and eye catching flowers.All the trees are irrigated with drip system. Periodic mulching and compost make our plants Natural. The fruits harvested from these trees are with excellent taste and prolonged shelf life. To maintain the Pragati Green belt forever, we have extensive conservation measures like rain water harvesting, vermicompost, Drip and sprinkler irrigation, and leaf mold mulching and sewage treatment plants. We also have a Gou shala (Diary Farm) having all the indigenous cows. People can construct their dream houses in a pollution and mosquito free environment. Pragati is giving a healthy life style for the community. We allow 20% construction and 80% greenery. As the old saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away. But at Pragati we say” live at Pragati and keep the doctor away.” The plot owners are our life members (over a period of 34 Years.). For 500 Sqyard plot one can have 5 members from their family.For the members, we made 85 acres of garden with following facilities- Club house, Swimming pool, Cottages and executive rooms, Spa and Ayurvedic Centre outdoor recreational facilities like Cricket, Volleyball, football, Shuttle, Adventure games, Children Park, Conference facilities, marriage halls, Restaurants and Banquet facilities. All the members can utilize the above facilities with a reasonable fee.
